Over 50 Trees Planted with the Support of Navitera Consultants Pvt. Ltd. and NMMC

On the occasion of World Environment Day, Jayashree Foundation, in association with Navitera Consultants Private Limited and with the support of the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC), organized a large-scale Tree Plantation and Seed Modak Distribution Drive at Jewels of Navi Mumbai.
The objective of the initiative was to create awareness about environmental conservation, increase green cover, and encourage active public participation in protecting the environment.
The event was graced by Hon. Mayor Mrs. Sujata Patil as the Chief Guest. Other distinguished dignitaries present included Mr. Girish Kanha Mhatre, Chairman of the Sports, Cultural & Youth Development Committee; Mrs. Rupali Bhagat, Deputy Chairperson of the Women & Child Welfare Committee; along with Mrs. Swapna Gavde, Mr. Abhijit Desai, Mr. Vishal Vichare, Mrs. Preeti Bhopi, Mr. Sachin Lavate, Mr. Dharmesh Barai, Mrs. Chhaya Tarlikar, Mrs. Siddhi Rane, Dr. Bhagwat, and several other eminent personalities.
As part of the initiative, more than 50 trees were planted. Citizens, volunteers, social workers, and environmental enthusiasts participated enthusiastically, spreading the message of environmental conservation.
A special attraction of the event was the distribution of Seed Modaks among dignitaries, citizens, and participants. The initiative aimed to inspire people to plant more trees and carry the message of environmental conservation to every household.
Speaking on the occasion, Hon. Mayor Mrs. Sujata Patil said:
"World Environment Day reminds us of our collective responsibility towards environmental conservation. Tree plantation is one of the most effective ways to protect and preserve our environment. I sincerely appreciate the efforts of Jayashree Foundation, Navitera Consultants Pvt. Ltd., and NMMC for organizing this initiative. The Seed Modak distribution is an innovative concept that will encourage citizens to actively participate in environmental conservation."
Mr. Girish Kanha Mhatre, Chairman of the Sports, Cultural & Youth Development Committee, said:
"A clean and green environment is the foundation of a healthy society. Planting more than 50 trees at Jewels of Navi Mumbai is a significant step towards environmental conservation. I congratulate Jayashree Foundation for organizing this initiative on World Environment Day. Creating awareness and increasing public participation in environmental protection is the need of the hour, and such programs inspire especially the younger generation to contribute towards nature conservation."
On this occasion, Mr. Vaibhav Jadhav said:

The program concluded with all participants taking a collective pledge to continue working towards environmental conservation and creating a greener future.
